black white and orange – yes indeed.

Orange and white modular sofas with mounds of square pillows in yellows browns and burnt umber juxtapose the traditional artwork hung on white walls. This space is simple yet complex with well planned details, such as the stripes at the bottom of the drapes and the right on scale of the side tables. Hand me the Sunday New York Times paper and a bellini please!

Check out progress from one of our design clients! This beautiful house is in Colorado and presents quite the expansive challenge. Flooring texture, statement light fixtures, and lots of white! Check back to see how it goes, as well as the other random bits of inspiration. No one was more surprised than us to discover these incredible moths as design reference! You just never know when – or how – it’s going to hit do you?

The AKMD Collection

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

These delightful tables and & accessories are from new local duo, AKMD. Combining the timelessness of Asian and Indian style in a fresh modern way makes these especially memorable. Combine that with craft and you’ve got that trifecta that slays me every dang time. Better in person of course, but make sure you peak at AKMD’s site for their full product line up.

We got the goods from Strand Design!

Thursday, November 17th, 2011

Some of our oldest friends, our furniture compatriots-in-crime, Strand Design, have given their product line a refresh. And in case you missed their booth at Design Harvest, you must come by on December 1st as we unveil the goods. The best part is that despite expanding their inventory, the heart of what makes Strand’s work so great remains. Those crisp and utilitarian lines, the surprising details, bright pops of color, and quirky silhouettes are present as always and give their work an edge that no one else can touch. Own that shizz, guys.
