oh that view, my my that view…..
Such a tranquil room of natural materials and textures, to perfectly offset the best artwork ever, nature. Simplistic and laid back, yet refined and not too rustic, this space is perfection.

POW! don’t be a wimp with those bold colors.
If you are going to go for it…. go for it, because it’s all about “the tude”. All be it, pink is one of my least favorite colors, I respect and appreciate the use of it in this space. And as always a Parsons table can easily persuade me even more. Choose wisely where you decide to give those punches of colors, highlighting areas and objects keeping their proportions in the overall room and to each other in mind.
Check out progress from one of our design clients! This beautiful house is in Colorado and presents quite the expansive challenge. Flooring texture, statement light fixtures, and lots of white! Check back to see how it goes, as well as the other random bits of inspiration. No one was more surprised than us to discover these incredible moths as design reference! You just never know when – or how – it’s going to hit do you?

open space division
Oh the endless possibilities of dividing large open spaces – and yet this is so elegant, so simple and so affordable (my fave combo) Adding a weight is brilliant. Also drooling over the plaid daybed in juxtaposition with the organic graphic mural. This could even be a way to section off outdoor living areas, and how about a kick ass mural on an exterior element? I say… do it.
Gio Ponti, you are my hero.
My love for you is indefinite. A true visionary. Every detail and design element is so spot on. You have inspired our new space. Where do I even start to dissect this space… perhaps it isn’t needed, this room is a work of art.
An interior that is so well put together, but isn’t ordinary and a tad unexpected, is our mantra. Our new shop is even more reflective of this. We are still in the process of gearing up and adding the touches, but our new spot is so sunny and full of contrast. A simple color pallet within the architecture, and added pops of color is where it’s at. Detail, detail, detail is what we are enjoying the most now that we can make sure every inch is considered.
xo to you Mr. Ponti!
the sunken living room……
I cannot stop drooling over this cocktail table, and not to mention the room that it sits in. Let’s see, an aquarium “esq” window…. uhhh yes, textured wood walls – a must, and pops of color = I’m in love. Yet another incredibly designed space to get my design gears cranking! Bring more circles into spaces and don’t be so square!!!
open and airy
What we all dream of when living in the city. This space is refreshing and uplifting. Oh Mr. Ponti, you are my hero. The diagonal pattern of the marble floor is the perfect tweak in this otherwise linear space, the perfect skew to give the room needed edge. Now to figure out how to transplant myself into one of those lounge chairs with a glass of white Bordeaux in hand.
